A letter to Paris!

Dear Paris,

It has always been a lifetime dream for me to pay a visit to you and see your beautiful wonders. The stories about your architectural designs, metropolitan services, museums, theatres, libraries and public spaces have always been a compelling factor.

Climbing up the iconic Eiffel Tower, overlooking vast neighborhoods of the city of light is a top priority, so does seeing Pont des Arts, the bridge of locks . Unlike many, this is not, however to seek long lasting or durable relationship in a lock with names and keys thrown to a river.

The much delayed trip also included in relaxingly cruising at Siene River, sightseeing on board of tootbus to admire your iconic sights and enjoying a magical time at your Disneyland.

Unfortunately, I have to scrap all these plans, at least for the time being, given the alarmingly worrying bedbug situation there. I shall give you a time and a space to get rid off this annoying creature for no one would find tranquility in insect-infested environs.

Let me know if you need any assistance in the battle as we can happily extend a lending hand in using nature-based solutions to such a struggle.

In the mean time, remember to carry out your “Bedbug Elimination Operation” in a responsible manner and within the confines of "International Framework of Insect Conservation”, as all insect lives matter. Needless to remind you the importance of insects to biodiversity as they provide invaluable ecosystem services.

Abdirahman
